How website settings shape the storefront

Almost every shopper-visible feature — from whether prices appear to which home page sections display — is controlled by website settings in your CloudPos admin backend. You never need to edit code; toggling a setting in the backend changes what shoppers see on the next page load.

Two key rules:

  1. Settings are read from two backend sources: website-settings and company-props. When the same code exists in both, the company-props value wins.
  2. Most display toggles default to ON (the feature is visible). Checkout opt-in features default to OFF and must be explicitly enabled.
